PLEDGE: Johnson

IT’S now more than a month since Boris Johnson pledged to “fire up the engines of the UK economy”.

HAPPY TO SLUICE GENTLEMEN’S LEAVINGS: Elsie will reopen in the next few days.

Schools are also set to reopen – despite some concerns from parents and teachers about a possible second wave of the coronavirus.

However, Elsie Banner says even though she’s scoured the Government’s COVID- 19 website, there are still no guidelines for her safe return to work.

Elsie, 48, is a cleaner at Maison D’Ordure, Soho’s premier scat dungeon, and her bosses want her back with her mop on June 15.

The hard- working mum- of- three said: “The customers haven’t been able to come here and plop on each other since March. They must be very frustrated.

“My employer, Mr Theopolidou, said to me, ‘ Elsie, you come back to work – if you no come back, there is no job’.

“I’m happy to sluice up gentlemen’s leavings, but is it safe? All I want from the Prime Minister is an assurance that I’m not going to catch this Chinese flu thing.”

Last night a No. 10 source said: “Several ministers are very well acquainted with Maison D’Ordure and will be looking into its re- opening as soon as possible, in a manner that is safe for both the customers and the staff.”
