CHOO-CHOO TRAN GETS STEAMED UP OVER TRANS-PENNINE TRAINS

Cross-dresser claims service is ‘stealing our culture’

-

A TRANS-RIGHTS extremist has launched a campaign against a popular rail service, accusing it if “stealing trans identity”.

Angry Gwendoline Collins claims that TransPennine Express – which ferries passengers from Liverpool to York and Scarborough across England’s central hills – has “no right” to use the word “Trans” in its name.

Gwendoline – who was called Barnaby before transitioning – said: “This is a clear case of cultural appropriation.

“In pursuit of profit, this company has attached the world ‘ Trans’ to its name and that is blatant theft of trans culture and trans identity.

“It’s like a white bus company calling itself Rasta Coaches or a straight taxi driver running a firm called Bummer Cabs.

“It’s just not on and this will not stand.”

Gwendoline has set up a petition online which has already rallied 14 signatures.

She has also written an article for The Guardian newspaper and fully expects the relentlessly leftwing, not- loss- making- last- year rag to publish it this week.

Gwendoline harrumphed: “I am urging trans people and allies to boycott this service and not to use TransPennine’s trains until the company changes its name, publicly apologises and makes a substantial donation to my charity, The Gwendoline Collins Trans Trust.

“With the money, the trust hopes to buy a caravan at Talacre to use as a campaigning base.”

RAILING AGAINST RAILWAY: Gwen wants firm’s name changed

This is not the first time that Gwendoline has been caught up in controversy.

In 2011, while she was still called Barnaby and was just a low- profile cross- dresser rather than a full- on trans, she appeared in court on an indecency charge.

She had been arrested in a state of inebriation at a train station after offering to suck off a rugby team in return for lager – an escapade that gained her the nickname “Choo- Choo Tran”.
