Cops step up flasher hunt
A SPATE of FLASHING incidents has seen a county’s cops step up perv patrols.
Since January 1, there have been 10 incidents that have been reported to police in upmarket Hertfordshire.
Five of those have been in Ware, four in Bishop’s Stortford and one in Buntingford.
Three were separate incidents while one involved two victims.
East Herts Chief Insp Stuart Orton said: “I fully appreciate that incidents of this nature will cause alarm within the local community.
“While none of the victims has been touched or followed during these incidents they are still distressing to witness.
“As a result, we have stepped up patrols in affected areas and continue our enquiries to identify anyone involved.”
