Devil worshippers sue over state flag

SATANISTS say they will sue Mississippi if the phrase: “In God We

Trust,” appears on their new state flag.

Lawmakers there have moved to redesign it to remove the Confederate battle flag – which is now seen as taboo, thanks to the BLM movement.

But Devil- worshippers at the Satanic Temple wrote to Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch and insisted if the state “is going to place a religious phrase on its flag, it should include reference to Satan”.

Under legislation Gov Tate Reeves signed on June 30, the new state flag’s design cannot have any Confederate imagery and must include the phrase: “In God We Trust.”

Voters in Mississippi will be asked to decide on the new state flag design in a November ballot.
