PIRATES of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp fell in love with Amber Heard on the set of The Rum Diary.

But their relationship – and brief marriage – has turned out to be more of a rum do than their nuptials.

The current high profile court case in London – in which Depp, 57, is suing the Sun newspaper for calling him a “wife beater”, a claim he strongly denies – has drawn some lurid claims from the former husband and wife against one another.

So far the ongoing trial has heard Amber, 34, once shat on the marital bed and Depp assaulted her on their Orient Express honeymoon.

It was also alleged she threw a vodka bottle at him and sliced his finger off while he lobbed an iPhone at her.

And he is so rich the Edward Scissorhands star once lost £ 500m and as you can see from this collection, he’s also slipped a length to some top notch ladies!

star Jennifer has dated quite a few famous faces down the years – including actor Michael J Fox and lead Matthew Broderick.

But they don’t come further up the Hollywood hunk tree than Johnny, who she dated during the 1990s.

AFTER Depp and Vanessa Paradis separated in June 2012, Depp began dating actress and model Amber Heard, who he met on the set of The Rum Diary in 2009.

Heard had been in a lesbian relationship with photographer Tasya van Ree from 2008 to 2012.

Depp and Heard were married in a private civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles in February 2015.

In 2016 they were caught smuggling a dog into Australia, violating the nation’s strict quarantine regulations.
