THIS IS REALLIFE THE ROAD TO HELL…

-

BACK in the 1950s, the American Government ran a top- secret brainwashing programme called Project MKUltra.

For the next 20 years the CIA plied unsuspecting members of the public with mind- bending drugs, to turn them into human robots.

But there was a horrifying side- effect – hundreds of victims described being stalked by an angry DEMON who wanted to “wear their skin as a coat”.

And this act of barbarity was perpetrated from 1953 to 1973.

The covert operation was only made public in 1975 following an official investigation, and it took until 1995 for President Bill Clinton to issue a formal apology.

So what the hell was Project MKUltra?

The official line says it involved “extensive testing and experimentation at all social levels, high and low” via the administration of LSD to “unwitting subjects in social situations”.

It was far- reaching, taking place in 80 institutions right across the US and Canada, in universities, prisons, hospitals and psychiatric wards.

The aims were clear – the CIA was growing increasingly obsessed with the idea of mind control, fearing their Russian, North Korean and Chinese foes had already mastered the dark art. And they too wanted to be able to ‘ hypnotise’ a person and get them to do their bidding.

However, the repercussions were devastating and fatalities

were numerous.

In other side- projects, victims – including women and disabled children – were fed radioactive material to see what effect it had on the human body.

Again, the side- effects were predictably lethal.

But something even more sinister was at play – those given high dosages of LSD – often for as long as 77 days in a row – complained of being stalked by an evil entity.

At first doctors dismissed the claims as simple paranoia brought about by the ingestion of narcotics.

But when more and more unrelated test subjects began describing EXACTLY the same threat in great detail, some worried they’d accidentally opened up a portal to another dimension – or to Hell itself.

Researcher Blair Erickson, 31, spent years researching Project MKUltra and was the first to lift the lid on the terrifying supernatural beast that plagued patients.

He said: “I first started poking around the subject of government experiments on human test subjects.

“The more I found, the more I realised this thing was definitely real.

“The people in the experiments saw a supernatural entity, and they called it ‘ the banshee’.

“They described a malevolent being that wanted to take people
