Think? THIS WEEK: IS THE BBC GOOD VALUE?

-

WELL, I for one would not be without Strictly, I’d pay my licence fee for that alone.

But it’s not the same without Brucie, is it?

Whatever happened to him? He wasn’t caught touching kiddies was he? Oh, I hope not. It was bad enough finding out that nice Fred Talbot was a bad egg.

THE BBC? Bloody hotbed of Marxists, vegetarians, perverts and woofters! Card- carrying Labour Party members, the lot.

It’s never been the same since they scrapped The Black and White Minstrel Show.

Political correctness? It makes me sick.

Harry Harris, Bristol

THE BBC? It’s just a mouthpiece of the Tory Party, isn’t it?

The way they went about destroying Jeremy Corbyn with bogus accusations of so- called “anti- semitism” was a scandal.

And who led the charge? Laura Kuenssberg. She should be tried as an enemy of the proletariat.

Don’t get me started on its lack of diversity.

Jeff Basset, Taunton

I’M a big fan of the BBC but it’s not been the same since they got rid of Jim’ll Fix It. I loved that show. All those bright- eyed young people, having their innocent little dreams come true. What a delight.

They should bring it back.

I’m not alone in thinking this. Many of my online friends think the same. Pete Marsh, Barnstaple WELL, as I see it, the whole problem can be traced back to Edward Bloody Heath taking us into the Common Market.

And if you believe that Britain has ‘ left’, then you’re more of a bloody fool than you look.

Right, I’ve had my say.

James Tanner, Yeovil
