EVERTON must do without suspended Richarlison and the injured pair of Seamus Coleman and influential James Rodriguez for the trip to St Mary’s today in the first of three Premier League games.

Carlo Ancelotti must decide whether to persevere with a back four and bring Jonjo Kenny back into his starting XI or play a back three with Ben Godfrey – who played so well on debut in the Merseyside derby last weekend – playing alongside Yerry Mina and Michael Keane.

Alex Iwobi will start as might the disappointing Bernard who has cut little ice in his time at Goodison. I would mush prefer Ancelotti to play either of his talented youngsters Anthony Gordon or Niels Nkounkou.

Saints must do without Theo Walcott who is on loan from Everton, but I was impressed with the quality of their attacking play at Chelsea last weekend.

The game promises goals but both teams to score is short enough at 8/ 13.

Southampton are 9/ 5 with Unibet with Everton marginal favourites at 8/ 5 and the draw at 5/ 2. A scoring draw is priced at 7/ 2 with BetVictor and that is the recommendation.

Wolves are 5/ 6 with Unibet to beat Newcastle United at Molineux in the second game and that could represent the value with the Magpies well beaten by Manchester United at St James’ Park last weekend and, arguably, fortunate to come away from Spurs with a point in their last league game on the road.

Wolves weathered the early Leeds storm at Elland Road on Monday, but often had luck on their side and have only scored three goals in their last five games in all competitions.

Despite sitting sixth in the table they are not playing as well as they can at present, but they will take great confidence from their win in south Yorkshire and I feel they can make it four wins from six league games against Steve Bruce’s side.

In the late kick- off Arsenal entertain Leicester City having lost against Manchester City for the seventh time in a row in the league last weekend. The Gunners had their opportunities at the Etihad and were, arguably, unlucky not to go back to the capital with a point but they failed to take their chances.

Both sides gained wins in the Europa League midweek, but Leicester have lost their last two in the league – both at the King Power – and have failed to score in those defeats to West Ham and Aston Villa.

It is less than a month ago that the Foxes put five past City at the Etihad, however, and this promises to be a terrific game which I expect Arsenal to edge.

The recommendation is for Arsenal to win and both teams to score which is a best price of 13/ 5 at bet365. Arsenal begin the weekend 2/ 1 to end the campaign in the top four with Spurs 11/ 8, Chelsea 8/ 11, Manchester United 7/ 4.

Four into two does not go and it promises to be quite a battle for the remaining two places if you believe – as I do – that Liverpool and Manchester City will occupy two of the berths.

Note Everton began the weekend just 5/ 2 to be playing Champions League football next term, Leicester 8s and Aston Villa 10/ 1.
