WELL, it’s Carrie 1, Dominic Cummings 0.

The PM’s fiancée, Carrie Symonds, bared her teeth last week when Boris’s special adviser Cummings was shown the door for reportedly briefing against her.

Carrie was a key part of the furious row within No10 over who should be his Chief of Staff.

Here are some facts you may not know about her…

SHE was born in March 17, 1988 – making her 32 years old, 24 years younger than Boris.

CARRIE is the daughter of journalist Matthew Symonds, co- founder of The Independen­t.

SHE was educated at posh Godolphin and Latymer School For Girls. Other famous pupils were Sophie Ellis- Bextor,

Davina McCall, Kate Beckinsale and Jacob Rees- Mogg’s sister.

IN 2007, aged 19, Carrie was driven home from a King’s Road nightclub by taxi- driver John Worboys, who in 2009 was convicted of sexual assaults. Carrie was one of 14 women who testified against him at his trial.

went on to the University of Warwick, where she studied art history and theatre studies, completing her degree in 2009.

2009, Carrie joined the Tories as a press officer. She worked at Conservati­ve Campaign HQ, and later campaigned for Boris in 2010 for his London mayoral bid. 7SHE

became the Conservati­ve Party’s head of communicat­ions in 2018 but left later that year amid claims she was not very good at the job. 8

SHE reportedly began an affair with Boris, then Foreign Secretary, in 2018 while he was still married to his second wife, Marina Wheeler. 9

IN 2019 she was barred from entering the U. S. as her visa applicatio­n was rejected due to a previous visit to immigratio­n- restricted Somaliland.

SHE has been described as a “passionate animal rights defender” and is a patron of the Conservati­ve Animal Welfare Foundation.
