Tyrant ordered execution while watching Last of the Summer Wine
A MAN caught smuggling a pirate copy of Netflix smash Squid Game into North Korea was thrown into a tank of maneating PIRANHAS on the orders of tyrant Kim Jong- un.
Kim hit the roof when he was brought news of the smuggler while watching old VHS tapes of his fave show, Last of the Summer Wine.
Excited
A Pyongyang insider said: “Mr Kim is currently very excited about what he calls the ‘ pervasive Western influence’ on his state and asked for any news of people caught smuggling in copies of Western television.
“So when this bloke was nabbed at the border with copies of Squid Game, the Leader was informed right away. But unfortunately, he was watching Summer Wine, which he adores.
“And Mr Kim was so angry at being disturbed he ordered the smuggler to be thrown to the pet piranhas he keeps in the cellar at his palace.”
Our source added: “Mr Kim would normally watch executions of this type but he was far too busy watching Summer Wine. It’s the one where Nora Batty chases Compo with a mop. You should see how that one pleases him.”
The smuggler is the second person executed for smuggling Squid Game into North Korea.
The first, a student who returned from China with a digital copy of the hit South Korean series stored on a hidden USB flash drive, was executed by firing squad.

North Korea has a strict ban on material from the West, and its neighbours South Korea, being allowed into the country.
Squid Game’s dystopian world in which heavily indebted people are pitted against each other in children’s games, with losing players being put to death, resonates with North Koreans living under dictatorship.
