Blowjob ‘ gets you out of trouble’ claim
A BENEFITS investigator has gone on trial accused of asking an alleged fraudster for ORAL SEX in return for dropping the probe against her.
Andrew Gilmartin, 45, of Drumfad, Grange, Co Sligo, Republic of Ireland, pleaded not guilty to a single charge of coercion.
Dara Foynes, prosecuting, said the alleged victim had been caught working while claiming benefits.
She was interviewed at the social protection office and, the State alleges, Mr Gilmartin said she could face arrest and prosecution.
“It is alleged that he had then asked her for oral sex in return for getting her out of trouble,” said Ms Foynes.
She said the woman “fled the room” and made a complaint.
The trial continues.
