Cops ‘ made lad swallow stash’

THREE policemen have resigned after forcing a driver to eat a stash of pot during a traffic stop.

The unidentified 19- year- old driver told investigators that he was stopped by cops for a traffic offence.

Officers found five grams of marijuana in his car and the victim said they told him to eat the weed to avoid jail.

He did so, was issued a ticket and let go.

Two of the cops are being probed both criminally and by the department. The third is the subject of just the department investigation.

All three of the officers were wearing body cameras but none of them was turned on.

A source for Phoenix Police in Arizona said: “They thought it was funny. The guy could have had a bad trip and died, or something.”
