No hookers for Chinese president
COPS rounded up dozens of hookers and threw them into prison camps – ahead of a visit by the Chinese president.
Prostitutes were among several groups removed from the streets of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and thrown into the Prey Speu detention centre.
It was part of an operation by city officials to “clean” and “decorate” the city ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s arrival.
The individuals were grabbed from areas around the Royal Palace, riverside and other parts of Daun Penh district.
“We made a plan to make our district clean and beautiful,” said Ouk Samal, Daun Penh district’s administration chief.
