Train weirdo ‘ had sex’ with handrail in front of girls

A WEIRDO ‘ had sex’ with a handrail and yanked his trousers down in front of horrified teenage girls on a train.

Christopher Lamb, 30, first approached two girls, both 13, on the platform of Sunderland station at about 7.30pm on October 26 last year, the city’s magistrates heard.

Prosecutor Steven Davies said Lamb made ‘ inappropriate remarks about their bodies’ and boarded the same Metro as them.

On the way to South Hylton station he subjected them to his vile behaviour, which was caught on CCTV.

“A number of young persons were on that train. Some of the females complained about the behaviour displayed by Mr Lamb,” said Mr Davies.

He walked down the carriage and took hold of the handrail, then began to rub himself against the pole to simulate having sex with it while leering at the girls and telling them “I’d do both of you”.

Lamb then lunged towards one of the girls.

“She thought he was going to grab her breast, that he wanted to touch her sexually,” said Mr Davies.”

Lamb, of Grindon, Staffs, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency.

He was given a two- year community order and banned from travelling on public transport for 12 months, unless accompanied by a family member, health or social worker.
