Bare Necessities hopes to break down the barriers of social nudity with their naked trip.

Boasting 3,000 birthday- suited people, the Big Nude Boat, founder Nancy Riemann explained: “It has been my experience that people who are able to leave their clothing behind in a social setting are also more able to check their egos at the door and be themselves.”

There are strict guidelines in place to keep the trip sanitary, such as clothes being required for meals and to use a towel before sitting down.

The 10- day cruise from Tampa, Florida, explores Miami, the Bahamas and the Caribbean and costs from £ 848.
