Funnel trash bins ‘ a magnet for stunt- shitters’

NEW “drive through” bins designed to allow motorists to throw trash from their cars as they pass are an “open invitation to stunt- shitters”, a clean- up charity has warned.

The funnel- shaped bins are being introduced at 25 service areas in the North West, said Highways England.

They are designed so drivers do not need to leave their vehicles. The first are on the M6 at Lymm, Cheshire.

But John Lunt, of the Thrash the Trash anti- litter charity, said the specially- designed units will cause more problems than they solve.

He raged: “There is a class of people about who get their kicks by defecating in the most unusual places and then sharing their antics on social media.

“If I were a stuntshitter, I’d be drawn to these bins like a fly to, well, shit.”
