Activists’ call to boycot ITV over Clarkson

LEFTY activists are calling for an ITV boycott after the channel hired Jeremy Clarkson to host a new series of Who Wants To Be Millionaire?

The reboot of the famous telly quiz show has already attracted controversy for dumping former host Christ Tarrant and dropping the phone a friend lifeline, but 57- year- old Clarkson’s appointment has upset campaigners.

Ella Carthage, 19, has called online for an organised boycott of the channel until Clarkson is sacked.

She said: “This man is a dinosaur and a sexist and should not be anywhere near a television channel.

“He has the most obnoxious views of any man who has ever lived. He contributes to global warming with his support of the vehicular hegemony.

“His opinions are vile and everyone I know hates him. I am calling for a total boycott of ITV.
