Gangster link in horror bag of hands find
A BAG containing 27 pairs of HUMAN HANDS has been found washed up on a beach.
At first just a single hand was found, but investigations soon revealed a holdall with 54 others inside.
The grim discovery was made on an island in the Amur River near Khabarovsk, a city with a population of 590,000 based in southeastern Russia close to the Chinese border.
Investigators have managed to lift a pair of fingerprints belonging to one of the hands, but no identity has yet been established.
Cops have no leads but are working on the theories that the severed hands are either from a medical training school or they were cut off by gangsters as some kind of punishment for theft.
A police source said: “This is find is truly disgusting.”
