Step forward Vladimir Putin. Last weekend a former Russian spy and his daughter were sprayed with a deadly poison on the genteel streets of Salisbury, Wilts.

And although the Kremlin deny it, there is every chance that Putin gave the order for this attack.

Just like he, in all likelihood, gave the order for the murder of Alexander Litvinenko in London back in 2006.

There are a string of other mysterious deaths – many in the UK – that seem to lead directly back to the desk of Vladimir Putin.

So where is all the social media outrage?

Where are all the hysterical Hollywood women sobbing about what a brute Putin is? Exactly. They are silent. We appear to live in a world where boasting about “grabbing pussy” is seen as a bigger crime than cold- blooded murder.

In many ways, Trump is an ideal target for lazy attacks.

His preposterous hair, his odd way of talking, and his trophy wife all make him a preposterous figure of fun.

There is NOTHING funny about Vladimir Putin.

And people who are daft enough to poke fun at him tend to meet unfortunate accidents.
