SCHOOL COOKS FACE SACK OVER TOPLESS HOLIDAY PHOTO

- By SIMON DEAN

WHEN Alice Hopkins, Sue Leicester and May Phillips went on holiday to Gran Canaria during the February half term, they never expected to visit a NUDIST resort.

And their decision to spend the day at a clothes- optional beach bar raised eyebrows at home too – especially with their employers, a Manchester primary school we can’t name for legal reasons.

Orgy

When a photo of the trio’s trip to the Luna Soleada Sun Club emerged online, the divorced dinner ladies were suspended for misconduct and warned they face the sack!

Alice, 59, said: “We had no idea when we posed for that photo that it would cause such a rumpus.

“From the reaction of the school, you would have thought we’d been involved in some kind of lesbian orgy with dildos and butt plugs.” “And fisting,” added Sue, 47. May, 60, said: “It’s none of the school’s business what we do on holiday. Taking your clothes off is not indecent or illegal. “The school told us we were ‘ setting a bad example’ to the kiddies and ‘ stoking gossip at the school gates’. “But we’ve had nothing but support from parents. We’ve been replaced by agency staff who are foreign and putting God knows what in the kids’ dinners!”

One school governor said last night: “This is an internal school matter and will be resolved by the school – not on the pages of Sunday Sport.”
