Adult baby fury at diver’s brand role
PROUD new dads Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black have been unveiled as the new face of nappy brand Pampers.
But not everyone’s happy for the couple, who had their son, Robbie, through a surrogate.
Because members of the adult baby community are FURIOUS at what they’ve described as “a deliberate snub and an insult to diversity”.
Adult baby Patterson Forbes fumed: “I have seen the appointment of Tom Daley as a Pampers ambassador described as progressive and a great victory for diversity.
“What absolute bollocks. Tom Daley does not wear nappies on a regular basis. And I do.
“Pampers have decided to deliberately snub members of the adult baby community.
“That is an outrage and I shall be writing to my local MP.”
Tom has been announced as Pampers Pure partner and brand ambassador for the launch of their new Pure Protection range.
The Olympic diver said it’s a big deal that an iconic brand has chosen a same- sex family to front the campaign.
Tom, 24, said: “It’s absolutely amazing that they called us, a samesex family.
“But not only that, it’s wanting what’s best for your baby, and that’s why we trust Pampers and their Pure products.”
A source close to Pampers said: “The world may be ready for two dads flogging nappies, but adult babies?
“We may be a few years from that just at the moment.”
