Easter funday at holiday park

-

A HIGH-octane, world-beating stunt riding duo will be revving up the crowds as the main attraction at an Easter Sunday fun day.

Two-wheeled acrobats Dan Clark and Jack Carthy of the Xtreme Stunt Team, will be bringing their daredevil display to Golden Sands Holiday Park at Cresswell in Northumberland today.

The pair who between them boast more accumulated championship titles and accomplishments than any other similar stunt team, will be wowing the crowds with their breath-taking Man Against Machine show, which pits a motorbike and pedal cycle one against the other in a jaw-dropping display of skill and brinkmanship.

The couple from Haworth near Leeds, will perform two actionpacked displays that combine comedy, high-flying leaps over people and machines, and seemingly impossible to navigate obstacle courses.

It will be a chance for the public to see in the flesh, two riders at the top of their game.

Jack is the World Cycle Trials Champion - a title the 20 year old has clinched an astonishing five times – as well as a three time European title holder.

Dan, who is a professional trials motorcycle rider, was World Champion in 1997, and is a gold medal winner for Great Britain in the Trial Des Nations.

Dan says he and Jack are looking forward to performing at Golden Sands Holiday Park on Easter Sunday, and promises the crowds won’t be left disappointed by their aerial tricks and other fearless manoeuvres.

“There will be lots of comedy and unbelievable skills aplenty in a show that’s aimed at the whole family.

“The more the crowd enjoys themselves and the louder the shouts of encouragement, the bigger the stunts will get.”

The free to attend Golden Sands Holiday Park Easter Sunday Fun Day will also feature children’s rides, a barbecue, face painting, road train, bouncy inflatables, music and more.

It will also be a chance for the public to look around the familyowned and run holiday park, which is adjacent to stunning Cresswell Beach at the southern end of the wildlife rich Druridge Bay with its seven mile long stretch of sand backed by dunes, woodland, meadows, and lakes.

The Easter Sunday Fun Day will kick-off a new season of summer celebrations at the Visit England five-star rated Golden Sands Holiday Park.

As well as being a great Easter family day out, there will be the chance to find out more about Golden Sands, its all-new suite of holiday hire offerings and one of the largest selections of new and pre owned caravan homes to buy in the region. A 25% discount is being offered on selected models purchased at the fun day.

Golden Sands Holiday Park owner Nigel Thompson said: “We can’t wait for the Xtreme Stunt Team to join us at Cresswell on April 16. There’s a huge deal of excitement about Dan and Jack coming. It promises to be a fantastic day.”
