A PERVERT’S dad said ‘not t again’ when his son was confronted about trying to meet underage girls for sex.

Wearing Batman pyjamas, Warren Milne answered the door to his home to online paedophile hunters, who had caught him messaging what he thought were teenage girls on the internet.

In fact, he was chatting to members of Predator Hunters, a group who had set up fake profiles as fictional schoolchildren in a bid to find men searching to groom and meet youngsters online.

Milne, of Hillhead Road, West Denton, Newcastle, was already subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order that he was given by Newcastle Crown Court in June this year after committing similar offences last year.

On that occasion, he was allowed to keep his freedom but was made subject of the order, which banned him from communicating with people under 16.

But, by August 20, the 24-year-old was back up to his old tricks and began explicitly chatting to what he thought were four underage girls online,

He was, in fact, messaging members of Predator Hunters, who turned up to confront Milne on his doorstep on September 17.

Now Milne is facing an immediate prison sentence after he admitted four counts of attempting to communicate with a girl under 16 for the purpose of sexual gratification and one count of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

He appeared via video link from prison at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Thursday to enter his pleas.

Sue Baker, prosecuting, said the charges were an ‘attempt’ to communicate as the ‘victims’ were actually decoys.

District Judge Kate Meek said the case was so serious that Milne should be sent to Newcastle Crown Court for sentence.

Gregg Stephens, mitigating, made representations and will mitigate in full at the sentencing hearing.

Milne was remanded in custody to next appear at Newcastle Crown Court on November 30.
