Wolviston level with a snappy equaliser

-

Sunderland West End and Redcar Athletic shared the spoils in a six-goal thriller.

Mark Robinson struck a dramatic last-minute leveller for West End.

Stuart Browne handed the Teesside-based club a short lead before Nathan Burrell quickly replied.

Redcar then turned it around as goals from Sam Webster and Adam Preston looked to have won it.

But up popped Robinson, whose goal saw West End move up to fourth.

Gateshead Leam Rangers won 2-1 to pile more misery on third-bottom Stokesley SC.

In the Total Sport Alan Hood Charity Cup semi-final, Hartlepool and Hebburn Town Reserves will face each other in the final.

Hartlepool hosted Boldon CA, and it was the visitors who went ahead. But Mike Snowdon replied before the break for the home side, meeting Luke Naylor’s cross.

Andrew Blackburn hit home a short corner as Hartlepool led. Jamie Tumity then rounded off the win to ensure Hartlepool reached their first Charity Cup final.

Richmond Town kept out Hebburn Town Reserves up until the 75th minute before the league’s second-placed side took control.

Michael Gunnell received his marching orders for Richmond, and three minutes later the home side found the opener.

Defender Daley Clarke was the scorer when he nodded home a parry from the goalkeeper. Dylan Nesbitt then confirmed the Hornets would head to the final, converting from a corner.
