Dealership celebrates 40th anniversar­y

NORTH East car dealership Town Centre Automobile­s is celebratin­g this week as it reaches 40 years.

The family-owned firm opened its doors for business in December 1977. Starting off with just three staff, the new business began its life selling quality used cars from a site in Villiers Street in Sunderland town centre – hence the name of the company.

Since 1977 Town Centre Automobile­s, formerly known as Town Centre Citroen, has acquired an unbeatable reputation for quality and customer satisfacti­on.
