Pervert’s foot fetish

A PERVERT asked a young woman to wear his wife’s shoes to satisfy his foot fetish.

Christopher Wood also slapped the woman’s backside and praised her breasts.

His behaviour was likened to Benny Hill by a judge, who said: “You are frankly a dinosaur.”

Newcastle Crown Court heard his actions had left his victim shattered.

“Some days I don’t even want to wake up,” she said.

The dad-of-two dismissed his behaviour as “horseplay” but pleaded guilty to two charges of indecent assault on the Christopher Wood day his trial was due to start.

It left his reputation in tatters – although his wife of 15 years has vowed to stand by him.

That is despite Wood, of Highfield Rise in Chesterle-Street, admitting pestering the female. “The banter was clearly wrong,” admitted Jane Foley, mitigating.

Prosecutor Jonathan Walker said his bizarre antics included asking her to sit on the floor and slide food down a tube into his mouth.

He also made “deeply offensive” comments towards her about his manhood. “He had a pair of his wife’s shoes ... and asked the complainent to wear them,” he added.

Wood was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for five years.

He must also carry out 140 hours of unpaid work and pay his victim £3,000 compensation.
