CHRIS Coleman and his wife Charlotte Jackson have been settling into their new life in China.

The ex-Sunderland manager has taken up a job with Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune.

Former Sky Sports presenter Jackson has shared some of their highlights since the big move on social media.

These include a trip to zoo, some wild weather and a baffling range of flavours of crisps.

Coleman left his post with Wales to join Sunderland in November 2017, but could not save the Black Cats from back-to-back relegations and was sacked in April.

Hebei China are based in Langfang, about 35 miles south of Beijing.

The 48-year-old was announced as the club’s new manager, replacing now West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, in early June.

The Welshman’s family moved out to China to join him the following month and his two-and-a-half year contract with them is reportedly worth more than £3.5m a year.

The couple, who married in 2015, have two children together.

Jackson’s online posts included a photoshoot of her husband as he was introduced to his new club’s fans and posters of him at the stadium.

The changeable weather has switched from temperatures above 35 degrees to heavy fog to flash floods on the roads.

Charlotte also shared the wild range of crisps on offer with flavours including cucumber, seaweed and yogurt.

Coleman’s managerial career has taken him from Fulham to Real Sociedad in Spain to AEL in Cyprus as well as a successful spell in charge of the Welsh national team.

On his appointment with Hebei China, he said: “It’s a serious club in the Chinese Super League which wants to perform and it wants to succeed. It’s the third time I’ve managed outside of my country and I always like a challenge, a different culture, so yeah why not?

“There’s more reasons to come than reasons not to come so when I was asked to join I was very excited and I’m looking forward to the challenge.” An Instagram post from Charlotte Jackson after moving to China
