A MAN who tried to take his own life is now providing mental health support across the North East.

Les Peacock was “alone, depressed and not wanting to wake up” on Christmas Day 2018.

Now 18-months on, the dad-of-two has launched a charity providing emotional and financial support for those suffering with mental health related issues.

Now operating under a charitable constitution, Changing the Game UK has three trustees and is hoping to offer support across the North East.

Changing the Game UK aims to “change the game of life, one good deed at a time”.

“After parting ways with the foundation, I was still sharing my story and finding

volunteering ways to help people.

“We have produced a number of interviews that highlight the concerns and risks that come from ignoring depression and we are growing every day.

“I have self-funded the production of these interviews and also funded numerous good deeds.”

To raise awareness around mental health related issues, Les has created a number of documentaries and interviews on its Youtube channel.

The 33-year-old has produced hardhitting interviews with Brian Cockerill and Paddy Moloney.

Brian Cockerill speaks openly about his struggles, thoughts and motivation to achieve the things some people can only imagine.
