Teenage girl raped

A TEENAGE girl was raped by a stranger she met at a popular skate park in Newcastle.

Police say the 15-year-old was with a number of people near the skate park in Exhibition Park between 7.30pm and 10pm on Friday before she was attacked.

She left the area with another teenager she did not know and was then raped, police said.

An investigation has now been launched to identify the attacker and specialist officers are currently supporting the teenage girl.

The man is described as white, a teenager, of slim build, with black hair and trimmed facial hair. He was wearing black jogging bottoms and a dark North Face jacket with the hood up.
