Toon twin striker bid

-

NEWCASTLE United will look to add TWO strikers in the summer transfer window – if they go up.

United are tracking Andre Gray of Burnley and retain an interest in Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson – both young strikers who they could develop. And there is also the intriguing possibility of Daniel Sturridge being available in the summer, with Jurgen Klopp prepared to cash in on the England striker in a bid to revamp his squad.

That would be a major move but there is an acknowledgement from all parties that investment would be required in the squad – and United will be in the market for strikers who know the Premier League.
