THEY exploited some of Tyneside’s most vulnerable girls and young women for sex.

But now these predators have now been brought to justice for their horrifying crimes.

We can reveal the names and faces of those convicted as part of Northumbri­a Police’s Operation Shelter, which investigat­ed a sex exploitati­on network in Newcastle’s West End.

The investigat­ion formed part of the force’s Operation Sanctuary, an ongoing initiative tackling a wide range of exploitati­on issues and offences.

Here are some of those convicted and what they are convicted of. Only four have been sentenced so far, while the others are expected to learn their fate in early September. 1) Habibur Rahim, 34, of Friar’s Way, Fenham: Two counts of conspiracy to incite prostituti­on for gain, human traffickin­g, rape, two counts of traffickin­g for sexual exploitati­on, four counts of supplying MCAT, two of cannabis supply. 2) Abdul Sabe, 40, of Dean House, Walker: Conspiracy to traffic for sexual exploitati­on, conspiracy to incite prostituti­on for gain, conspiracy to sexual assault, two counts of supplying cannabis, two counts of offering to supply cannabis, possessing cannabis. 3) Eisa Mousavi, 42, of Todds Nook, Newcastle: Three counts of rape, two counts of supplying drugs, one count of permitting premises to be used for the supply of drugs, one count of conspiracy to incite prostituti­on. 4) Carolann Gallon, 22, of Hareside Court, Newcastle: Three counts of traffickin­g for sexual exploitati­on. 5) Nashir Uddin, 35, of Joan Street, Newcastle: One count of digital penetratio­n, four counts of suppling drugs, one count of permitting premises to be used to supply drugs, one count of conspiracy to incite prostituti­on for gain, three counts of possession of drugs. 6) Mohammed Azram, 35, of Croydon Road, Newcastle: One count of sexual assault, five counts of supplying and offering to supply drugs, one count of conspiracy to incite prostituti­on for gain. 7) Taherul Alom, 32, of Normanton Terrace,

Conspiracy to incite prostituti­on for gain. 12) Mohammed Hassan Ali, 34, of Bentinck

Street, Newcastle: Two counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of possession with intent to supply, one count of supplying drugs. Sentenced to seven years in prison. 13) Saiful Islam, 35, of Strathmore Crescent, Newcastle: One count of rape. Sentenced to 10 years in prison. 14) Yasser Hussain, 28, of Canning Street,

Newcastle: One count of assault by beating, one count of intimidati­on, one count of permitting his premises to be used for supplying drugs. Sentenced to two years in prison. 15) Badrul Hussain, 37, of Drybeck Court, Newcastle: Three counts of permitting premises to be used for the supply of cocaine, MCAT and cannabis and supply of MCAT. 16) Nadeem Aslam, 43, of Belle Grove West,

Newcastle: Two counts of supplying drugs, two counts of possession of drugs, one count of permitting premises to be used for the supply of drugs. 17) Mohibur Rahman, 44, of no fixed address: Two counts of permitting premises to be used for the supply of MCAT, three counts of supplying MCAT. Conspiracy to incite prostituti­on for gain. 18) Redwan Siddquee, 32, of West Road, Newcastle: One count of supplying drugs. Sentenced to 16 months in prison.
