Whickham winners as rivals clash

WHICKHAM won the battle between the division’s top two with a stunning 3-2 victory at Northaller­ton.

The Lang Jacks knew a win would put them top of the table, and started in perfect fashion with Chad Collins giving his team a two-goal lead at the interval.

As the players left the field at half-time, Northaller­ton’s Shaun Hudson and Kallum Broadhead of Whickham were sent off after a spat.
