Max respect

A POLICE dog sniffed out a stolen motorbike which had been dumped in woodland.

Max has been rewarded with a bone after his heroicst when he and his handler set out to find the stolen motorcycle.

At around 10.50pm a member of the public noticed a group of teenagers with the motorcycle on Stratford Road in Heaton, Newcastle.

They called police as they suspected the bike may have been stolen.

Max and handler PC Adam Fegan to trace the stolen bike.

Max was able to track the motorcycle dumped in the dirt in some nearby woodland – but the suspects had fled.

It was returned to its owner before Max was taken home by his handler.
