Concern for missing man

Aminul Goni AN urgent search is under way for a “high risk” Newcastle man who is believed to be travelling across the north of the country.

Aminul Goni, 23, was reported missing to police in the early hours of Thursday but hasn’t been seen since Wednesday lunchtime.

He was last seen leaving his home on Fenham Hall Drive in his car but the vehicle was later found a quarter of a mile away. Police and Aminul’s family are growing increasingly concerned.

Aminul is described as Asian, of medium build, with short black hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, gillet, baseball cap and dark trousers.
