Boy continues to improve
A teenager who was left fighting for his life in hospital after taking drugs is continuing to improve, police say.
The 14-year-old boy was left in a critical condition on Wednesday after suffering an adverse reaction to a substance he had taken.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 8.55pm on Wednesday after the boy was picked up in Woodhurst Grove, Hastings Hill.
Officers are issuing a warning after it is believed he had taken LSD and new psychoactive substances (NPS) – previously known as “legal highs” – with friends.
Two other people taken to hospital were discharged.
