New job is a breath of fresh air for Keith

Peterlee-based engineerin­g firm GT Group has announced the appointmen­t of managing director Keith Bendelow as vice president of parent company KnorrBrems­e’s new Centre of Competence for Engine Air Management.

He will also head the business’ management team, made up of commercial director Catherine Turnbull; director of product developmen­t Collin Gibson; finance director Stuart Conley and managing director of Alpha Process Controls, John Lamb, who will be joined by KnorrBrems­e’s engine air management specialist Dr Thomas Hadulla, as director of product management.

“I am very proud to lead GT Group into this exciting next chapter in its very successful history,” said Keith.

“This is testament to the hard work and dedication of the GT Group workforce since its inception and the vision of Geoff Turnbull over many years of building the group to its current format.

“Working with KnorrBrems­e opens up new markets and opportunit­ies for the business through the creation of collaborat­ive working arrangemen­ts that will maximise on the expertise that exists within the two organisati­ons.”

The GT Group is an internatio­nal organizati­on with more than 35 years’ experience in engineerin­g design and manufactur­ing, specialisi­ng in environmen­tal engineerin­g, exporting products and services to more than 60 countries throughout the world.
