BISCUIT BANDIT:

-

A bandit with a taste for espresso and fancy biscuits has been nabbed because he asked an officer for directions to a Connecticut bakery, police said. Donald Newman-Smith’s face was covered with a bandana when he robbed a convenience store, getting away with about $800 (£650), Stamford police Lt Thomas Barcello told the Stamford Advocate. Police say an investigator was responding to the shop incident later when Newman-Smith asked him how to get to the bakery.
