Come along to sculptural flame working weekend

Those interested in art will be able to try their hand at sculptural flame working as part of an exciting weekend this month.

Kicking off at 10am on Saturday, January 28 at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland, participants can enjoy two days of creating works of art using flameworking.

Sessions will see people aged 16 and take part in a combination of demonstrations starting with the basics and learning a range of flame working skills that will form a solid grounding to move forward using flame working as an art form.

The course is subject to an entry fee.
