The Alexandra, Sunderland, has a large function room to hire, covering all events from weddings to christenings to charity events.

The Alexandra Texas steakhouse, situated in Grangetown, Sunderland, is a warm, spacious, relaxed environment.
We have a comfortable dining area, used daily with three booths, with individual TVs, perfect for watching the football or cartoons to keep the children entertained.
We have a separate dining area which is popular for small functions, family gettogethers and larger tables.
We serve a wide range of food from baguettes, to steaks, to burgers to Sunday Carvery.
New to our menu is Fillet steak, 16oz T-Bone and a 32oz T-Bone, perfect for sharing.
We have just started a carvery on a Wednesday due to popular demand, served from 12 until 6pm.
Our popular early bird menu is available Monday until Saturday 12-7pm which is two-courses for £8.95, and Monday- Thursday we have two meals for £10 available all day.
We have an extensive dessert menu, ranging from speciality cakes to crepes and waffles to sundaes.
Don’t forget here at The Texas steakhouse one child (under 12) per paying adult eats for free.
