After Prime Minister Theresa May announced a General Election for June 8, we asked how you would vote at the polls.

Nathan Armstrong wrote: “Labour. Can’t believe people are even contemplating voting Tory after what they have done and continue to do to the north east. Not to mention declaring war on the most vulnerable in society while looking after their rich friends.”

A vote for the Tories is a vote for more austerity, less employment regulations, further degradation of public services including the NHS and to continue to transfer wealth from the poorest to the very wealthiest and turn the clock backwards for ordinary people.”
