Prestigious course for talented teacher
A high-flying Sunderland teacher is being fast-tracked to national success.
Talented Victoria Carr is one of the top 100 brightest young teaching stars in the country who has been hand-picked for a prestigious future leaders course.
Victoria, a science teacher at Academy 360 in Pennywell, will enrol on the year-long leadership legacy project, SSAT (Schools Students and Teachers) run by outstanding leaders across the country.
She will shadow a headteacher, visit inspiring schools across the country and tap into new teaching networks which will add momentum to her rapidly rising career.
The 27-year-old, who only began teaching four years ago, was nominated for the project by Academy 360 principal, Rachel Donohue, who identified her as a future teaching leader.
