A big tick to everyone who responded to three recent photographs we posted on social media.

First, we asked if you were part of the Fulwell Infants School 10th birthday celebrations in 1997.

More than 17,000 people spotted it and plenty gave us comments including Laura Dora who said: “I still have the mug!”

Matthew Foster said: “Yeah I was. I’d have been in year 1 I think.”

And Margaret Watson Clark said:”Both my boys went here it really is a great school.”

Nearly 13,000 people followed our post about Seaburn Dene Primary School which held a charity day in 1997.

Thanks to everyone who responded including Theresa Mercer, Alex Bell, Kelly Oates, and Ashleigh Kate who commented: “Omg hahhaha.”

Laura Muckles described the trip down Memory Lane as “Brilliant!!!” while Phillip Sinclair said: “Amazing!”

Laura Annison, Rachael Camerzan, Heather Wilson, Aimée Donkin, Dan Smith, Sarah Briggs, Lee Swales, Andrea Hutchinson, Anna Louise and Josh Graham all got involved as well.

While we were on the 1997 theme, we asked who remembered Frank Bruno’s visit to the Monster Truck Show in Sunderland that year.

What a response we got with 11,000 of you showing an interest, including Alia Amir who said: “Awww I can remember this day I loved our Sundays wish we could do them all over again.”

Claire Glover said: “I remember this as if it was only yesterday.”
