Where’s our cash going?

-

I am sick of hearing austerity, austerity, austerity, no money in the country for the likes of the NHS.

Even Great Ormond Street hospital is crying for help. So where does that help come from, not from the government but from donations. Benefits are being slashed.

Four million children living in poverty, thousands of homeless living on the streets, more food houses opening all the time.

Yet, the cross rail has just been finished in London, which has taken four years, at what cost? There’s money found to refurbish Big Ben, The Queens Palace, The House of Lords, plus a certain princess is wanting an extension build on her house as it’s too small, Trident and air craft carriers, Rail track, the new runway plus water defences are under review.

Then West Ham football club received a huge pay-out for improvements. So where is all this money coming from? It amazes me how they always seem to find money to plough into London while the rest of the country, especially the North East, get left behind.

Mrs May has just found a extra lump for foreign aid, another billion being sent overseas while Great Britain crumbles. So we all know what our austerity is paying for, where our money is going and where the priorities of this ludicrous government lies.

Where else has or is this money coming from and at what cost? We are all sick of putting our hands in our pockets, our hands are coming out empty, drained from the government squeezes with more on the way. We are told austerity for the good of the country, but it’s clearly an easy way to fill their coffers for their own good not ours. via email An Observer
