Mullen has the Knack to climb

Graham Mullen made ground up on the top 11 with two fine wins in the Knack Premier League.

First up for Mullen was fellow top-11 chaser Allen George, with Mullen edging a nervy affair 5-3. Mullen then blew Anthony Gale away 5-1.

Dave Prins moved up to second place without dropping a leg in his three games against Alan Smith, Philly Dunn and Davey Thompson.

Darren Patton had two excellent wins this week, beating Andrew Ambler 5-1 before beating Paul McGowan 5-3.

McGowan was also beaten in his first game by David Brown who won 5-3.

Graeme Hills was in fine form this week as he took maximum points as he hammered Arran Samuels 5-0 before seeing off Will Neave 5-3 in his next game.

Newly crowned BDO Gold cup champion, Ryan Joyce, continued with two classy wins, beating Eddie Ashman 5-1 before seeing off Allen George by the same scoreline.

Paul Williams won 5-1 win over Ross Guy before a 5-0 win over Matthew Hodgson, Guy lost 5-0 in his second game against Davey Thompson.

Neil Rose moved back inside the top 11 with two wins, a 5-1 win over Alan Smith before coming back from 3-2 down to beat Philly Dunn.

Rob McCluskey edged a tight game with Dougie Hall 5-3 then drew with Davy Richardson. Richard Selby cemented his top four spot with two solid victories.

Selby hammered Spiller Henderson 5-1 then beat Richardson by the same scoreline,

Spiller and Richardson had earlier shared the points.

Anth Skelton drew both his games against Allen George and Dougie Hall.

Chris Vaughan remains in fifth place after a 5-1 win over Dan Gillibrand, then edged an eight-leg thriller 5-3.

Wood had earlier whitewashe­d Anthony Galet.

Matthew Hodgson and Will Neave couldn’t be separated in a 4-4 draw. The Silver Fox, Andrew Ambler, recovered from his defeat earlier in the night for a comfortabl­e 5-1 win over Anthony Gale. Arran Samuels was excellent in beating Eddie Ashman 5-1.
