- by Aimee Stanton

If you’re glued to the small screen every evening after work, you’re not alone.

With over 104 million members in over 190 countries who watch 125 million hours of TV and films a day – we’ve become hooked on hte on-demand, streaming service, Netflix.

So if your going to do it, at least do it right, and follow these Netflix hacks which will change the way you binge watch for good.

Let the roulette decide

With over 6000 films and 1500 TV shows available through the entire Netflix site, you’d be forgiven for spending more time choosing a film than actually watching one. Netflix Roulette could be the ultimate game changer though, just visit www.netflixroulette.net and end your Netflix indecision once and for all.

Stop films buffering

No one wants Walter White to be cut off mid rant, so stop your favourite show from buffering by clicking Shift+Alt+Left Click (Shift+Option+Click on a Mac) and to open up a new menu which will let you change your buffering and streaming speeds.

Unlock hidden categories

If you’ve not already heard about Netflix hidden categories database, where have you been? It was big news last year when a Netflix super fan discovered that each category has a specific code and if searched on Netflix it will display everything from Kids Faith and Spirituality movies (751423) to Foreign Sci -fi and Fantasty (6485) films.

But now an even bigger Netflixfan has made the search simplier by creating a Chrome add on called Netflix Super Browse. Just download it from the Chrome store and it will automatically give you another dropdown bar from the Browse button to view all those hidden gems.

Cover your tracks

So what if you binged on Crazy Ex Girlfriend in one sitting, no one’s judging. Until your friends come round to watch a film later that day. So save on the embarassment and wipe away all trace of your viewing history. Just visit ‘Your Account’ then ‘Viewing Activity’ and your viewing history will be available in chronological order for you to delete as you please.
