Digital Allies joins forces with DTI to offer analytics insight

-

A Wearside digital firm is giving North East business an insight into making the most of their on-line presence.

Digital Allies, based at the e-volve building in Rainton Bridge, has joined forces with the Department for International Trade North East to host a free workshop for businesses seeking to grow overseas trades by making use of the data captured automatically by their website.

Digital Allies managing director Steven Parker, a qualified Google Analytics Qualified Expert, will be carrying out an introduction to Google Analytics, going through the fundamentals of setting up the system and then highlighting why analytics is so important to your business when trading overseas.

He will be helping attendees gain an understanding of their international customers, how to generate custom reports and gain knowledge about Ecommerce Tracking, pointing out how it can help sell more to foreign markets.

“It’s great to be teaming up with the Department for International Trade to deliver hands-on and practical advice on ensuring the data being tracked in Google Analytics is accurate,” said Steven.

“Many times we’ve worked with clients whose data is inaccurate, leading to misinformed decision-making.

“The event will go into detail on the configuration of Google Analytics, hopefully resulting in business owners leaving with confidence in the data they’re making decisions on.”

Sue Beverley, the DepartmentforInternationalTrade’s E-Commerce Adviser, will be attending the event, highlighting the support and funding available to eligible companies through D.I.T.

The seminar will take place at e.volve Business Centre at Rainton Bridge South Business Park, on October 12 from 8.30am.

If you are interested in attending, you can register your interest through Eventbrite, here.
