The initiative, which is aimed at driving footfall to city restaurants including Arabesque (pictured), while giving diners some bargains, is running until Sunday.

To take advantage of the offers you need to download the relevant vouchers from the www.sunderlandbid. co.uk/offers/restaurantweek website.

Pre booking is required and you will need to download and print the voucher and present it at the restaurant before ordering.
