Tall Ships buzz reaches India
OUR WEAR ON BOARD POSTER IS TRAVELLING THE WORLD
He’s helping to spread the word – how about you?
Seaham man John Pleavin has become the latest person to pose with a copy of our Wear On Board poster, which is promoting the news The Tall Ships Races are coming to Sunderland next year.
John is pictured proudly displaying the poster in the backwaters of Kerala, India.
Kerala is a state in Southern India and widely thought of as a tropical paradise reaching to the Arabian sea.
And now it has become the latest destination in our campaign to tell the world ‘Wear On Board’.
The Sunderland Echo has recently launched the colourful new poster and we want you to promote it all around the world.
In fact, whenever you go on holiday, go on a day out, or visit relations anywhere in the world, we want you to take a copy. 1. Grab a copy of the poster, which can be downloaded at https://tinyurl.com/y89uh- bme. Keep it safe and take it with you on holiday. 2. When you arrive at your holiday destination, hold your poster up and have your photograph taken with it. 3. Send that picture to us – with the tag “Wear On Board” – so that we can publish it. That way, we can tell the world that Sunderland is right behind the Tall Ships Races 2018. 4.
