STAR MAN CASSAP BOXES CLEVER TO STEER HIS MEN TO FIRST VICTORY AGAINST PENNYWELL COMRADES
AFC Donkins secured their first win in Division Two, pipping Penny well Comrades 3-2.
Eddy Wood, Jake Pattison and star man Warren Cassap ensured three valuable points, while Comrades kept close with strikes from Josh Dick and Bradford.
Willow Pond moved into joint second after a 4-2 win at Board Inn, who had Dan Pearson red-carded.
Trotter and Henderson hit their usual goals for Board, but Defty, Redpath, Brown and Grant Carr overturned the deficit to clinch a comfortable success.
Things are going from bad to worse for Hendon Athletic, who crashed 6-2 to Victory Club.
Dean Machin gave Hendon the lead, but Cooke’s flukey overhit cross flew in to level it up.
Smiles finished a good counter-attack as Victory went 2-1 up, but Micky Connor equalised with a cheeky overhead kick.
Hendon were getting back into it, but Hunter’s penalty, after Timm’s handball, gave Victory the impetus, with Harrison, Stores and Addison saw them home.
Reuben Thompson starred for Victory.
Grange Park hammered Cherry Tree 8-1 as Conlin and Fisk both scored hat-tricks. Nathan Groom added a brace, with Longstaff replying.

Dan Brown, Andrew Donnelly and Mathew Brotherston notched for AFC.

Braces from Hall, Laws and Watson had Dons cruising at the break. HopeHindmarsh replied for Ashbrooke before Andy Brown and Nath O’Neill finished the scoring.
TC Plastics’ winning streak continued as they beat champions Hylton Castle TWR 4-1.
Thompson, Anderson, Farquar and Michael Young had the game won before Liam Wooton scored on his TWR return. Liam Lay was outstanding for the Plasticmen.
Farringdon Detached and The Lansdowne served up an entertaining 1-1 draw.
Chris Rowntree shone for Lansdowne and Tyson had them in front, but Detached played well and earned a point when Stephen Moody scored with a beauty.
The Park enjoyed an easy run-out in the Durham County Sunday Cup, as their youthful side ran rings around South Shields Derby in a 5-1 victory.
Lewis Fairley and Micky Pattison hit doubles, but Danny Pattison hit the best goal, a rasping strike from just inside his own half to embarrass the keeper.
