Robinson confident of QPR victory against Cats
QPR defender Jack Robinson is wary of Sunderland going into tomorrow’s Sky Bet Championship clash at the Stadium of Light.
But he is confident of victory for Ian Holloway’s men, despite their failure to win an away match all season.
Simon Grayson’s Black Cats have still not won a home match in 2017, and they are marooned in 23rd place in the table after 11 matches.
QPR have not had the best of starts themselves, with 13 points putting them in 16th place ahead of their trip north.
And, despite Sunderland’s paltry tally of seven points, Robinson anticipates a testing afternoon for the visiting Londoners.
“Sunderland are a big club – they were a big club to come down last season,” the 24-year-old former Liverpool player told qpr.co.uk
“They’ve made an indifferent start to the season, but I’m sure they’ll be looking to climb the table over the coming weeks. “It’ll be a tough game on Saturday. “But we believe we can go up there and get a result.
“Our approach will be the same as it always is – on the front foot, getting in their faces.
“That’s what we try to do in every game.”
